2009 Lincoln Cent Two-Roll Set “Presidency” (LP4)

Includes two roll set, Philadelphia and Denver and comes in original sealed white box. This is the fourth design of a four design series. Fourth in the 2009 Lincoln Bicentennial One Cent Program, the “Presidency” design is now available in two-roll sets. The reverse design depicts the half-finished United States Capitol dome, symbolizing a Nation torn apart by civil war and the resolve Lincoln showed as he guided the country through its most grave crisis. It includes the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM and ONE CENT, and was designed by United States Mint Artistic Infusion Program Master Designer Susan Gamble and sculpted by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Joseph Menna. This set is comprised of 100 coins -- one roll of 50 coins minted at the United States Mint at Philadelphia (no mint mark) and one roll of 50 coins minted at the United States Mint at Denver (“D” mint mark). Each coin roll is wrapped with special United States Mint coin paper depicting the new designs, a “P” or “D” representing the roll’s mint of origin and “50¢,” representing its face value. These rolls contain one-cent coins used in regular commercial transactions. However, because these coins have never been circulated, they also make a great addition to your private collection or a wonderful gift for someone special.
